After a “shameful” trans joke, Rishi Sunak is required to apologize by Brianna Ghey’s father.

During PMQs, Starmer and Sunak argue about NHS waiting lists and trans rights.

Brianna Ghey’s father, a trans girl who was murdered, has demanded an apology from Rishi Sunak, saying he was “disgusted” by the prime minister.

Mr. Sunak’s comments during PMQs, according to Peter Spooner, had been “degrading” and “absolutely dehumanizing.” I find his remarks to be shocking because he said,” Identities of individuals should not be used in that way.”

Mr. Spooner continued, “Mr. Sunak may apologize for his notes.”

After Rishi Sunak made a “vulgar” joke about transgender individuals at PMQs before, Keir Starmer met with Brianna Ghey’s family in the legislature.

Mr. Sunak accused Labour leader Keir Starmer of U-turning on his definition of a woman in an irritable exchange, saying it was “a bit rich” to hear about promises from someone who had broken every single promise he was elected on.

Before adding that the Labour head had “u-turned on” “defining a lady, although, in justice, that was only 99 percent of the U-turn, “Mr. Sunak listed “pensions, planning, sinecures,” among other things.

When Brianna’s mommy is in this room, of all the days to say that, Mr. Starmer retorted. Shame.

ICYMI: Labour MP Sunak’s transgender joke is a “terrible new small.”

Rishi Sunak’s trans joke has been called a “terrible new low” by an older LabourMP.

Lawmakers “must do better than this,” according to Anneliese Dodds, director of equals and dark ladies.

The primary minister needs to apologize right away, she continued.

ICYMI: Badenonch and Starmer “waiverizing” transgender issues

According to Kate Devlin, business secretary Kemi Badenoch has charged Keir Starmer with “weaponizing” trans issues and connecting “his own inability to get clear on the matter of sex and gender straight” to the sorrow of Brianna’s mother.

By blaming Keir Starmer and accusing him of “political point-scoring,” Ms. Badenoch has stoked the controversy over Rishi Sunak’s crude transgender pun.

She wrote, “Every crime is a horror,” in an earlier Twitter post under the name X. Social point-scoring should not be used to trivialize any. I can relate to Esther Ghey’s injury as a family.

It was dishonorable of Starmer to immediately attribute her grief to his own ability to be clear about sex and gender.

As Minister for Women and Equalities, she continued, “I’ve done everything in my power to make sure we have avoided the heat of the LGBT conversation while remaining steadfast in our beliefs and principles.”

“Labor is delighted to weaponize this problem when it suits them, as evidenced by Keith Starmer’s actions now.”

ICYMI: Stonewall criticizes Sunak for offensive remarks.

LGBT+ donation Stonewall referred to Mr. Sunak’s remarks as “cheap, cruel, and vulgar.”

We urge the prime minister to express his sincere regret for his remarks and to consider how thoughtless comments from those in positions of authority can and do cause harm.

ICYMI: Sunak has previously criticized Labour on transgender issues.

The prime minister has previously attacked Labour over the issue of gender identity procedures, which have been a hot topic of discussion in Westminster in recent years.

LGBT+ activists have criticized some of the speech politicians use to talk about trans people, and right-wingers frequently bring up the subject in the so-called “culture war.”

We shouldn’t be intimidated into thinking that people can be any sex they want to be, Mr. Sunak said to Conservative delegates in Manchester during his Tory conference speech last year.

A male and a person are both men and women, so they cannot.

Minister enters from behind Sunak over the transgender jibe.

Sunak’s comments, according to government minister Laura Trott, were “absolutely nothing to do with this horrible tragedy,” and she insisted they were not a “joke.”

I want to be absolutely clear that this wasn’t a joke and had nothing to do with this terrible tragedy, the Treasury Department’s chief secretary told LBC.

The Prime Minister, according to Chancellor Jeremy Hunt, “could not have been clearer about the tremendous value he has for Brianna Ghey’s mom” and that his stage had been about Labour “flip- flopping on critical issues.”

Brianna’s parents demands an apology,ICYMI

After making a “dehumanizing” trans joke in the Commons while the defendant’s family was in parliament, the father of murdered student Brianna Ghey has demanded an apology from Rishi Sunak.

The jibe made during Prime Minister’s Issues, in which the PM accused Sir Keir Starmer of having difficulty “defining a female,” according to Peter Spooner, “shocked” him.

Downing Street after insisted the comments were “entirely legitimate” and not transphobic, despite Mr. Sunak’s initial refusal to apologize.

Mr. Spooner said to Sky News, “As the prime minister of our country came out with demeaning remarks like he did, regardless of whether they were related to conversations in parliament, they are definitely dehumanizing.”

Names of people should not be used in that way, and I personally find his feedback shocking and believe he may apologize for them.

Sunak receives more requests to apologize.

An SNP MP called the prime minister’s pun in the Commons transphobic and demanded that he apologize once more.

Hannah Bardell (Livingston) raised an eyebrow and said, “Thank you very much, madame deputy speaker, for giving me the chance to express my concerns and express how horrified I was during Prime Minister’s Questions to hear the prime minister make a transphobic joke across the chamber during LGBT history month, and on the day that Brianna Ghey was in parliament.”

“Do we not come to this place as elected members to enhance the lot of people?” And at a time when the transgender community is the target of extraordinary attacks from both locals and the media, it is imperative that we all consider our speech, approach to these problems, and how we speak about trans and non-binary communities.

I believe she may advise me on how to ensure the excellent secretary apologizes.
