Children Are Misappropriately Transgender, “Accurate Therapist” Warns

“The next radio interview in a series on transgender phenomena, technology, and the possibility of medical malpractice lawsuits is presented here. View the initial meeting, which discusses sudden-onset gender dysphoria.

A seasoned social worker cautions that parents shouldn’t put their faith in mental health professionals when it comes to a transgender identity.

The over-psychologizing of youth, according to Pamela Garfield-Jaeger, a social worker with decades of experience working with mental health professionals and vulnerable people, is causing rapid-onset gender dysphoria and the stress of children disguising themselves to fulfill their transgender identity rather than addressing underlying psychological issues.

Garfield-Jaeger, who lost her job as a result of her refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, now practices as “The Truthful Therapist” and assists families in navigating the potentially dangerous area of mental health. Many kids struggle with their emotional wellbeing and discover that the very people they trust to assist their children have demonized them.

According to Garfield-Jaeger’s “The Daily Signal Podcast,” “I talk to parents who are either also in the middle of it, where their kids are also identifying as trans, or where they’ve lost their kid. In those cases, the kids were most upset when they thought their parents no longer cared about them, loved them, or accepted them because that is what the trans community, therapists, and doctors said.

‘Oh, your kids aren’t accepting you for who you are,’ all the people who believe in this are telling this child. ‘We are the ones who welcome you,’ she observes. ‘We’re the ones who know you best. Now that my parents don’t know who I am, it’s a really scary prospect for them to think that. They pay no attention to what I say. It’s a complete lie to say that they don’t believe me, care about me anymore, or love me any longer.’

According to Garfield-Jaeger, ‘all of these parents that I’ve actually met love their children dearly.’ They simply want to live in reality and are certain that this child has an underlying problem that is making them think they are trans and that their brains and bodies aren’t compatible.

The social worker explains that the notion that children’s parents don’t love them ‘just adds to the distress’ if children are dealing with mental health issues before they hear these negative messages about their parents.

This mentality demonstrates that parents don’t always have faith in mental health professionals, and it prompted Garfield-Jaeger to testify against the California bill AB 665, which Gavin Newsom signed into law next year. The law directs mental health professionals to speak with a child when deciding whether the child’s parents should have any say in the therapy, and it also permits 12-year-old children to consent to residential treatment in an institutional setting.

Many of the group homes where children receive residential treatment receive government funding, according to ‘The Truthful Therapist.’ She warns that ‘the people in charge of that money really believe strongly in this “gender-affirming care” model, and they think children need to start taking hormones and having access to clinics in order to become transgender quickly.

According to Garfield-Jaeger, ‘I think more vulnerable children will be mistakenly converted to transgender and won’t have their mental health needs met without their parents to protect them.’

She may be aware because she worked in California’s group homes.

Although doctors have cautioned that minors cannot consent to treatments with lifelong effects, such as potential sterilization and increased risk for osteoporosis, deep-vein thrombosis, and various side effects, much of the medical industry pushes experimental transgender medical interventions for children.

According to Garfield-Jaeger, ‘I truly think that gender dysphoria, sexual distress, or whatever other term you want to apply is really a symptom of something else.’ She notes that many people who struggle with issues of gender identity have ‘trauma, often sexual trauma.’

She claims that the transgender community ‘promises this one-size-fits-all solution’ that provides ‘short-term relief,’ but ‘in the long run, it creates a lot of harm.’

The social worker added that she observes a significant amount of ‘desistance’ in children who previously identified as trans coming back to identify with their biological sex. ‘Because so many children were isolated, they weren’t engaging in their activities or other interests or interacting with their friends, so they were forced to stay at home on their devices and discover that they might be transgender online,’ according to her. This sensation of young people identifying as transgender ‘peaked during the lockdowns or right after them.’

But, Garfield-Jaeger says, ‘Now that we’ve been out of that for a few years, we are seeing more desistance.’ According to her estimation, about 50% of the children she works with have a trans identity. ‘It takes a while, nevertheless,’ she observes.

‘It seems to take about two years.’ She claimed that the process is not overnight.

Garfield-Jaeger also draws a connection between the problem and critical race theory, which encourages children to view American society as systemically prejudiced, with white folks being ‘oppressors’ and black people as ‘oppressed.’

According to her, young people are drawn to becoming trans because they can sort of identify into being now in this ‘oppressed’ category, which is why they identify as transgender in part ‘because they tend to be in that [oppressor] category—like the [white, whatever].

She continues, ‘Women may be particularly vulnerable to this trend.’ She says, ‘A young girl wants to know that she’s a good person, and if she is told that because of the way she was born, that makes her bad. I think that is pretty awful advice to give. Now that you have this magical way to avoid becoming trans, you get rainbow and parades, and all the movies portray the trans people as being cool and enjoyable.

She also regrets that it is advised that girls be scared of menstruation.

Israeli activist Garfield-Jaeger points out that Jews are viewed as an ‘oppressor group,’ and I believe this is what is taking place on these campuses. That explains the increase in antisemitism.
