Drag Show at N. H. Library Halted by Concerned Citizens: Kids Have Power

Despite obstacles from the Library Board, Board of Selectmen, and child Transgender activists, MassResistance was able to prevent a” Drag Story Hour” from visiting their collection.

There are about 3,200 people living in Lancaster, a silent, far-off city in northern New Hampshire. However, the LGBT movement’s obsession with normalizing homosexuality and transgenderism to young children has n’t spared its public libraries, like most of America.

A few Lancaster kids got in touch with MassResistance again in early May. In their neighborhood Weeks Memorial Library, people had been noticing sexually explicit LGBT books for kids ( like Gender Queer and All Boys Are n’t Blue ). That already shocked me.

Drag Queens Reading Children’s Explicit Books

However, they later learned that a” Drag Story Hour” was going to be held in the library on June 11, 2023, in just over two days. The occasion was put on by” White Mountains Pride,” an child Gay organization. The Drag Queens read LGBT ebooks to kids while dressed as grotesque impersonators of beautiful ladies. The goal of the White Mountains Pride organization, which was to restore rebellious behaviors in children’s minds and have an impact on them for the rest of their lives, was quite distinct:

DSH]Drag Story Hour ] gives kids beautiful, upbeat, and unapologetically gay role models while capturing the imagination and sing of the female flexibility of youth.

Additionally, this repulsive libraries event was scheduled for a Sunday, when libraries are typically closed. Costs like personnel, protection, lighting, etc. may result from this. How would you pay for these costs? The space is offered at no cost to non-profit organizations in accordance with collection policy. Do one use local tax money?

The kids advised against this at all costs. They had no idea what to do to prevent it because they were so upset.

Weight is led by mass resistance.

MassResistance jumped in to help them right away. We assisted them in creating and disseminating a flyer to update and inform the neighborhood. Many locals were drawn in as a result. We gave them a plan and assisted them in organizing.

One of the parents inquired about this occasion and the unique Sunday starting for it from the library director. She replied that she “did not want this to transpire” but was compelled to do so because otherwise the ACLU would sue the area. She was unable to make anything, however, when asked for a text or other legal risk. Since the pornographic books were finally placed in the children’s section of the library, this was especially annoying. Therefore, she was perhaps only repeating the pro-LGBT talking points of the American Library Association.

Telling the collection directors the truth

On May 8, the parents planned to send a party to the future Library Trustees meeting. They sent the Trustees vehement emails prior to the meeting outlining the issues they saw with the library hosting this wicked event, asking for a list of the books to be read, and requesting that the event never be permitted.

There were growing resentments in the neighborhood over this. The May 8 Library Trustee conference was attended by twelve kids. Two police officers were there to “keep them in series” when they arrived.

The Chairman soon made a statement about the event at the beginning of the meeting. The kids were informed:

The occurrence is not being sponsored by the librarian. A nearby non-profit institution called White Mountains Pride is being rented the space.

  1. The Drag Queens did read children ebooks from the school’s set.
  2. To ensure that it does n’t disrupt the library’s regular operations, it is being held on a Sunday on purpose.
  3. A law has been established by White Mountains Pride that states that an adult may become accompanied by a child and that no child may participate school alone.
  4. The Library Director, never the Trustees, is in charge of the programs in the collection. The funds, construction, etc. are simply generally under the control of the Library Trustees.
  5. The collection has a non-discrimination coverage.

The Chairman avoided discussing the wicked content with great care. He only referred to it as” the event,” despite asserting that he was powerless to intervene because doing so would amount to “discrimination.”

Leaders with arrogance Cut Off Public Comment

Following the Chairman’s remarks, the general public testified. The occasion was the subject of all the witness.

Would the government be able to attend the event? A few of the families mentioned that the school’s bylaws condition that all events held there are “open to the public” during the testimony. This went against the White Mountains Pride’s requirement that even adults and children attend the event.

The Chairman called for a break after 30 minutes because he was getting frustrated and said that” the responses have become repetitive.”

Even though there were still a few more people waiting to speak, the Trustees returned after the break and announced that the subject was closed.

The Trustee Board announced that they would have their city attorney assess whether or not the function was common. However, it was clear that the rules made that quite clear.

The Library Trustees, however, declined to take any further behavior in addition to that statement.

Parents Did n’t Change Their Mind

Despite White Mountains Pride’s requirement that they be pregnant, the MassResistance kids started making plans to enter the drag show on June 11. To complete every seat, they would arrive at the collection well over an hour earlier. It was clear that no “attorney overview” may alter the requirement that the event be open to the public.

Additionally, our activists spread a complaint in Lancaster opposing the use of the Weeks Memorial Library for carry events. The complaint received over 500 names in a matter of days.

On to the meeting of the Board of Selectmen

The next step was for families to show up at the city’s June 5 Board of Selectmen conference, which was scheduled for six weeks prior to the Drag Show.

The parents sent a courteous but business email to each of the Selectmen and another town officials before the meeting pleading with them to “pressure the Library Trustees” to revoke the event’s permission.

The parents noticed that three armed police officials were strongly seated there as they entered the June 5 meet. It seemed like a strategy for harassment. The parents, however, were n’t going to be intimidated. Additionally, there was a group of LGBT activists present who were naturally there to scare the parents.

Three police officials were waiting for the parents when they entered the conference room.

The petition was presented to the three Lancaster Selectmen at the start of the appointment. It was hoped that this would show how strongly the neighborhood felt. But they did n’t appear to be at all moved by it.

When the public comments began, the parents vehemently argued that the Board should at the very least make a speech about this wicked and bad event, which the neighborhood did not want to be held in their library, and that it should be treated with special consideration on Sunday.

Then some of the LGBT activists spoke up, making their customary points about passion, addition, non-discrimination, not being narrow-minded, “freedom to read,” etc.

The Board of Selectmen’s Chairman then spoke, essentially asserting that there was nothing the Board could do to change the circumstances. They were refusing to act or even address the Trustees in people.

Families triumph

Following the Board of Selectmen meeting, tensions grew as the MassResistance families ‘ plans to complete the occasion spread throughout the neighborhood. There was no doubt that many people officials were becoming agitated.

The local news then reported on June 7—four weeks prior to the event—that White Mountains Pride had postponed their event!

According to the statement,” Organizers White Mountains Pride of North Conway canceled the celebration on Wednesday at the library staff’s demand due to safety concerns.”

Of course, they gave an offensive and potentially libelous justification. There were no real” health problems.” These opposing parents were always extremely polite and totally relaxing, in contrast to the insane activists of the LGBT movement.

This was a fantastic triumph! The library has n’t made any further attempts to revive the Drag event since then.

Avoid letting them scare you.

Since the established policy stated that it was “open to the public,” parents were never intimidated by the sham requirement that kids may provide with each adult. Additionally, neither the Trustee Chairman nor the Library Director’s fraudulent “ACLU lawsuit” discussion intimidated them.

The Left frequently backs down when we continue to fight against the spread of falsehoods and take decisive action.

Our protesters in Lancaster, New Hampshire, did a fantastic job!
