Over two female non-conforming players in the line-up, nearly 17, 000 people have signed an online complaint denouncing a “non-binary and transgender bonanza” at the approaching Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The event does introduce “tens of millions of viewers at home to the democratic Gay plan,” according to a petition organized by One Million Moms, an affiliate of the traditional American Family Association.
Macy’s, the department store that sponsored the event, declined to comment on Daily Mail.com requests.
In recent months, conflicts between transgender players and businesses have become polarizing. The relationship between Bud Light and trans influence Dylan Mulvaney resulted in a reaction and boycott that cost the business millions of dollars.
One Million Moms urges Macy’s to avoid making a comparable error in their complaint.
Shame on Macy’s for endorsing and funding this kind of amusement, according to the complaint.

In June, Newell, who portrayed Unique Adams in the musical television set Glee, became the first nonbinary artist to receive a Tony for an acting performance.
Since 1924, the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade has brought in more than 50 million television audiences as 3.5 million people line the 2.5-mile festival way through New York City.
With German singer/songwriter Kim Petras performing her bubblegum number” I Do n’t Want It At All,” the 2021 parade was the first to feature a transgender pop star.
