J.K. Rowling has criticized famous people for “using their platforms to praise on” the transition of children, and she argued that she would not accept two Harry Potter movie stars if they offered an apology.
Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe have both recently spoken out in support of trans people after comments made by the 58-year-old writer.
Following the Cass Review, which found that a lack of research and evidence on the use of menstruation blockers and hormones had let kids along, her censure of the piece came amid a series of articles on Twitter/X.
Rowling, who is based in Edinburgh, responded on Wednesday to a post suggesting Radcliffe and Watson may be” safe in the knowledge” she did accept them if they offered her a public apology.
But she
