The collapse of JK Rowling and the Harry Potter show’s relationship

In recent years, J.K. Rowling’s opinions on transgender people have become a more controversial figure.

In an apparent effort to defend women’s rights, the 58-year-old writer has repeatedly misled transgender girls in recent weeks and months, perhaps going so far as to compile a list of transgender girls that appeared to suggest the transgender community was full of sexual animals.

Her connection with the celebrities who resurrected her beloved Harry Potter books now seems completely apart.

The author made an implied “forgive” on X/Twitter on Wednesday ( 10 April ) for speaking out in favor of trans rights and on X/Twitter on April 10.

The First Waves of Controversy – 2019

Rowling first voiced gender-sensitive opinions when she opposed Maya Forstater in a pro-prison tweet after losing her work for her supposedly transphobic tweets in 2019.

But it was n’t until the summer of 2020 that Rowling made her views on the subject explicit, retweeting an article about “people who menstruate” – taking umbrage with the inclusive choice to use the word people.

She wrote:” ‘ Persons who menstruate.’ There was, undoubtedly, a term for those individuals. Somebody please assist me. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud”?

The author insisted that gender names do not exist on a range in a tweet that followed this off.

” If sexual is n’t real, there’s no same- sexual attraction. If sexual is n’t true, the lived truth of women worldwide is erased”, she wrote.

I am aware of and enjoy transgender people, but removing the idea of sexual makes it impossible for many people to meaningfully discuss their lives. It is n’t hate to speak the truth”.

Trans protesters, Harry Potter followers, and however many of the actors who had appeared in the hit series between 2001 and 2011 were outraged.

Rowling Condemned – 2020

Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter, was the first artist to talk out against Rowling’s position on trans names.

” Transgender women are women”, he said in a statement released by The Trevor Project in 2020, a suicide prevention generosity for fresh LGBTQ+ people.

Any claim that the opposite is true erases transgender people’s personality and dignity goes against the advice of expert health care organizations, who have much greater than Jo or I in this area of expertise.

” We should all have the right to reside in love without fear of wisdom.”

These claims were made in the same way by another Harry Potter stars.

Emma Watson also made an appearance at the BAFTAs in 2022, telling the audience she was” for all the witchcraft” when she presented an award on stage.

Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy, however, said he “was not going to be jumping to stab]JK Rowling ] in the front – or back” in 2022.

” There’s a bunch of things about Jo”, Isaacs said. ” You know, I play complicated people, I’m interested in difficult people. I do n’t want to get drawn into the trans issues, talking about them, because it’s such an extraordinary minefield”.

The Hate Crime Act – 2021

Following the release of the new Hate Crime Act in Scotland this quarter, Rowling’s reported defense of women’s rights appeared to have gotten a little louder.

The Hate Crime and Public Order ( Scotland ) Act 2021, which came into force on April 1, states that it is a crime to” stir up hatred” based on protected characteristics including age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or being intersex.

The artist then challenged Scottish officers to apprehend her for misgendering transgender individuals and, in some cases, pointing out their acts.

She remarked,” British politicians appear to have put more value on the thoughts of men acting in their own female roles, whether they be misogynistically or strategically.”

Without being permitted to refer to a person as a person, it is impossible to accurately identify or handle the truth of violence and sexual violence committed against women and girls, or address the current abuse on children’s and ladies ‘ right.

If the precise definition of biological sexual is deemed inadmissible, freedom of speech and perception are at an end in Scotland.

Following this, the author went on to mention the transgender women’s reported crimes, some of whom were found to be men, and where they were later identified as men.

The list included convicted criminal Isla Bryson, and Amy George, who abducted and assaulted a girl, as well as trans activists and common characters who are not accused of wrongdoing.

Rowling once said,” I’m now out of the country, but I look forward to being arrested when I return to the Scottish Enlightenment’s birth.”

Police Scotland said in response to this that they would not take the artist on her evident “arrest me” task despite receiving grievances about her articles.

She continued,” I hope this news will reassure every female in Scotland who wants to speak out against the truth and importance of genetic sex, and I firmly believe that all women, regardless of their gender or economic situation, will be treated equally under the law.”

If they go after a person for simply calling a man a gentleman, I’ll repeat those words so that they can attack us both at once.

The Cass Report– 2024

Rowling asserted that the Cass Report, which was made available just yesterday ( April 10 ), further vindicated her fight for women’s rights.

The report examines children’s sex companies, which have experienced a new surge in demand, and concludes that younger people have been caught up in a” rainy social conversation”.

According to the review, there is “remarkably poor proof” for providing gender-affirming care like puberty blockers, making suggestions for improvements.

The reality is that we lack solid proof on the long-term effects of gender-related problems, according to Cass.

It’s unusual for us to treat young people with potentially life-changing effects without knowing what happens to them in adulthood, and that’s a problem because we have n’t had the follow-up to adulthood to know what the outcomes of this are.

Dr. Cass continued to add to Today that many of the women at birth patients who were presenting at identity facilities in their early teens “had” rather complicated more issues.

Rowling responded to this post by tweeting that this should provide enough data to challenge those who support gender-affirming care to change their minds.

She wrote:” Even if you do n’t feel ashamed of cheerleading for what now looks like severe medical malpractice, even if you do n’t want to accept that you might have been wrong, where’s your sense of self- preservation?”

The trend you jumped on is hurling toward a cliff in awe.

A Twitter users who used the hashtag” FarRightHooligan” later claimed that they were waiting for the Harry Potter creator to offer an “incredibly people apologies.”

Merely waiting for Dan and Emma to apologize to you in public, knowing that you will accept them, they wrote.

However, it seems as though the writer is not willing to let this matter go bygones.

She replied:” No healthy, I’m afraid. Celebrities who supported a motion that wanted to diminish women’s hard-won right and who used their platforms to support the transition of minors can keep their apologies for traumatized detransitioners and vulnerable women who rely on individual sexual spaces.
