The Trevor Project is extending its collaboration with Crisis Lifeline, the 988 Suicide &, to offer specific services to LGBTQ associates who call 9- 8-8 for an additional year.
The Trevor Project, the top LGBTQ youth suicide prevention and crisis intervention firm, announced a new lease with The 988 Suicide &, Crisis Lifeline, on November 16, 2023, to maintain its function offering LGBTQ-inclusive solutions for the three-digit backbone for at least another time. One of the seven organizations assisting in ensuring that LGBTQ callers to 988 receive LGBTQ-competent and inclusive care via telephone, words, and chat is The Trevor Project.

We participated in 988 in our first year of collaboration, providing an estimated 280 000 LGBTQ problems contacts, bringing The Trevor Project’s full contacts to over 500 000.
