There has been a backlash against Sandi Toksvig for expressing her rage at anti-trans citizens in politics and the media.
I am deeply troubled by those who identify as “radical liberals” but are anti-trans, said the former Great British Bake Offpresenter. I might cry. I fail to understand. I do n’t understand it.
Lesbians were frequently left out of the feminist movement when it first began in the 1960s and 1970s because we were told that we would make the activity less appealing. How may I do that to someone else when I have been excluded myself? It makes me angry.
In an appointment with The i paper, Toksvig discussed a future performance with the London Gay Men’s Chorus.
Toksvig, a vocal proponent of LGBT+ freedom for many years, was one of the most well-known lesbians in Britain in 1994.
Due to the House of Lords ‘ opposition to same-sex marriage, she even founded the Women’s Equality Party in 2015 and is currently working on removing appointed Church of England priests.
It’s disturbing, she said. They do n’t treat women or gay people fairly. Additionally, they are not some mysterious group; this is our position religion.

Individuals jumped to Toksvig’s aspect as soon as they saw his comments on social media.
