According to a court hearing, the girl who was charged with killing the transgender teen admitted to being drawn to her target.
Jurors were informed that Brianna Ghey was lured to a garden by the 16-year-old, who was only known as Girl X, and that she was killed in an “frenzied” blade attack.
Girl X admitted to liking Brianna and having “dark thoughts” about killing and torturing persons at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday.
On the evening of February 11, earlier this year, Brianna, 16, was stabbed 28 times in the head, neck, torso, and again in Linear Park in Culcheth, close to Warrington.
According to the prosecution, the teen was purposefully drawn it for a murder that Girl X and her co-accused, who went by the name Boy Y, had planned.

She retorted,” I suppose but, yes.”
When asked why, she replied,” I just get ideas at random, even if there was no purpose.” I have no idea how I get them or where it comes from.
She continued,” It’s usually with people I do n’t like, but not always; occasionally, it can be with those I do actually like and I’ll still daydream about it.”
The adolescent finally acknowledged that she thought Brianna was more attractive.
She added that it was “possible” that Boy Y liked the thought of killing Brianna because he disliked transgender citizens.
Before, messages between Boy Y and Girl X were shown to the jury, in which they talked about killing Brianna in order to” see if she screamed like a boy or girl.”

She admitted that she had thought about giving Brianna cleaning supplies to consume because she liked the idea that it would result in a “horrible death.”
While she watched and refrained from wiping the blood from her face as she fled the scene, she denied wanting Boy Y to remove the transgender teen.
Jurors learned about a book that was discovered at Girl X’s home and in which she referred to Boy Y as “very, very smart, talent level” but also” sociopath,” emotionless, and socially awkward.

Jurors had formerly heard that Girl X liked to watch online abuse clips and “dark web” murderous content.

Brianna was sitting on a chair when Girl X, who admitted to luring her there under the guise of using drugs, briefly walked away to bend her legs.
She claimed that as she was doing this, Boy Y was stabbing Brianna when she turned around after hearing a cry.
