A Utah standard who falsely implied that a 16-year-old baseball player was transgender has received calls to resign, which has resulted in virtual harassment of the teenager and police protection.
Natalie Cline, a member of the Utah State Board of Education, posted on Instagram earlier this week. In the post, she displayed flyers for high school basketball games and women ‘teams.

The post quickly received a deluge of responses, with users orally criticizing the girl and discussing her private information.
One Instagram post read, referring to the child, “All of the women on both groups really ban the games until he is removed from playing.”
Another person remarked, “My neighbors don’t tolerate this garbage, and I know they’d bring it up at the game.”
A third opinion read, “Begin calling the primary and shaming them.”

The woman’s dad claimed to KSL-TV that his daughter was the target of a wave of animosity after Cline posted something on Facebook.
He told the NBC advertising, “Here’s a person who is supposed to be in charge who promotes the safety of our children, and she is the one who started this article that has sparked all this hatred.”
According to The Salt Lake Tribune, the woman needed police protection as a result of the barrage of abuse. Following the post, the Granite School District, which houses the girls ‘basketball team, issued a statement stating that it was “taking additional precautions for the safety and security of the school.”
While also defending her deeds and blaming the transgender area, Cline deleted the Twitter post and issued a statement on Wednesday apologizing to the girl and her family.

The Utah State Board of Education criticized Cline’s activities in a speech on Thursday.

The committee “has no power or authority to oust an elected official,” the statement continued.
State legislators and the child’s parents are urging Cline to withdraw. Because the girl doesn’t use social media on her phone, her family told KSL- Television that she had to inform her daughter of the Facebook post.
The mother said, “It just broke our hearts that we needed to have this conversation with our daughter.”
