ORLANDO, Fla.- As anger over Florida GOP chair Christian Ziegler’s physical power allegations intensifies, calls for both his and his partner, Moms for Liberty co-founder Bridget, to step down. According to a regulation enforcement affidavit, he had known the woman for 20 years.
Christian Ziegler, the troubled state GOP chair, describes himself as the target of an ongoing murder research being conducted by the Sarasota Police Department in a statement by Florida Center for Government Accountability columnist Bob Norman Tuesday and in an email sent to major Democratic officials in Florida.
Ziegler, who is 40 years old, refers to it as an “attack” on himself rather than the target in the case. He asserts that he is being “targeted” and notes that anyone can report a murder. Ziegler pledges to show more details about the “motive” and the perpetrator of his suffering in the future.
As I wait for the process to be finished, Ziegler wrote, “We have a country to preserve, and I’m not going to let false accusations of murder put that goal on the chair.” “I want to thank everyone who has offered their help.”
Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is leading the song calling for Ziegler’s withdrawal despite his protestations and obfuscation of the document Sarasota Police police filed against him.
You’re innocent until proven guilty, I said the other day when it was released. There are undoubtedly accusations made against people that aren’t always true. However, I believe that the vision must come first when there is an investigation into crimes of this scale, the government said on Tuesday.
“Having this hanging over his mind is detrimental to the objective.” I’ve told him to move away. The Speaker is Paul Renner. Senate President Kathleen (Passidomo). When you have items like that that, I believe most people realize it’s just an untenable position,” he continued.
“And but we’ll see what transpires in the end. The government acknowledged,” But I’m not sure if you have any real status with that hanging over you. Florida Republican U.S. Sen. Rick Scott joined DeSantis in his expectations, telling the Associated Press that Ziegler should resign rather than be a smokescreen during an important election time.
Even though they openly oppose and advocate for LGBTQ+ right, Ziegler and his wife are being criticized for their hypocrisy in admitting to having a physical relationship with another woman.
In a joint declaration to the Blade on Tuesday, Jack Petocz, the vice chair of the non-profit organization, and Cameron Driggers, executive director of Gainesville, Florida-based Youth Action Fund, stated the following:
The younger people who have endured their reign of terror over the past few years are not surprised by the discoveries regarding the aggressive behavior of Moms for Liberty Co-Founder Bridget Zieglar and her Father, Christian Ziergler, Chair of the Florida GOP.
The Zieglers, who have subjected fresh LGBTQ+ Floridians to prejudice and targeted regulations, are largely to blame for the devout anti-queer society conflict raging in Florida. They were living a non-traditional existence of their own at the same time. The Zieglers ‘shameful hypocrisy knows no bounds.
Christian and Bridget Zielger may soon retire from their positions of authority if they have even the slightest shred of decency.
In March 2022, Petocz and Driggers organized a nationwide walk-out in opposition to Florida’s infamous “Don’t Say Gay” law, which DeSantis signed. They also successfully succeeded in ousting an extreme-right incumbent school board member in Flagler County, where they were attending secondary school.
Another LGBTQ+ activists are criticizing the Zielgers, who have long supported the Florida governor’s work, in addition to campaigners like Driggers and Petocz.
DeSantis “is trying to turn back the clock on development and remove LGBTQ+ people from life,” according to Melanie Willingham-Jaggers, executive producer of GLSEN, which supports Gay students.
Willingham-Tom claimed that “He’s using resilient communities as political puppets in an attempt to gain power and advance his own job.” Every major medical organization in the United States supports gender-affirming children care, and we know that diverse syllabus and LGBTQ+ representation benefit all students. We are urging senators, advocates, and friends to join us in supporting LGBTQ+ youth as Floridians continue to be attacked for their access to education, healthcare, or bodily autonomy.
Moms for Liberty as a group has contributed to these attacks on the LGBTQ+ area and LGBT+ youth in common, both in Florida and across the United States, which has prompted the Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization that monitors civil rights, to attribute the so-called “parental rights” party as extremist.
Parents for Liberty promotes an anti-student addition radical agenda, according to the SPLC’s monthly Time in Hate & amp, Extremism record for 2022.
Bridget Ziegler, a current member of the Sarasota School Board, has been outspoken in her anti-LGBT+ mission, calling for the removal of LGBTQ+ books from the state’s libraries and limiting assurance of that populace.
According to Lance Preston, executive director and founding CEO of the Rainbow Youth Project (RYP) in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ziegler and Moms For Liberty’s efforts have had a chilling impact. The RYP provides trans and gay youth with lowered or no-cost non-surgical healthcare assistance as well as substantial mental health and suicide prevention counseling.
According to Preston, “Parents for Liberty” battles against what they refer to as “indoctrination” while claiming to market “conventional family values.” “However, their actions have had serious repercussions for a large number of young people who are struggling with their sexual orientation or gender identity.”
Since April 2022, Rainbow Youth Project has documented more than 23,000 issue calls and live chats, with about 4, 361 of the visitors specifically citing Moms for Liberty activities in their schools and communities as at least a major factor contributing to their despair, loneliness, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, and even suicidal ideation.
If the hypocrisy weren’t so dangerous, it would be amusing. For example, they attack schoolchildren for sending the business beautiful cards pleading with them to stop bullying LGBTQ+ kids while claiming to have for “liberty.” The group soon denounced those youth, referring to their cards as “hate mail” and attempting to deny those children their rights under the First Amendment, according to Preston.
Every LGBTQ+ children deserves to be loved, accepted, and given support throughout their challenging trip. It is heartbreaking to see the damage Moms for Liberty has done by disseminating false information and discrimination and fostering hatred and prejudice. Preston told the Blade, “We will continue to call upon populations to have against discrimination and work alongside us to create a world where LGBTQ+ students can live, completely from the fear of rejection or injury caused by anti-EQL+ organizations like Moms for Liberty.”
These accusations are extremely critical and call for a thorough research. The Zieglers have spent years educating people about who to be and how to survive, whether through elected office, GOP party command, or Moms For Liberty. In a condition being hijacked by the anti-LGBTQ+ plan, they have been the idea of the lance for right wing fanaticism. According to Brandon J. Wolf, National Press Secretary &, Senior Director, Political Communications, for the Human Right Campaign, their anguish for power and total disregard for citizens have been and will continue to be a blot on Florida’s history.
The Zieglers are being disbanded despite claims that Christian raped their intimate partner because their right-wing friends fear that people will discover the truth: their “movement” is based on hypocrisy, lies, and harming others in order to acquire power, wealth, or fame. t.co/BDzQRdwxBi

Ziegler’s wife is currently facing related demands in Sarasota in addition to the political management calls for his resignation. Tom Edwards, a part of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, called for Bridget Ziegler to retire from the table in response to claims that her husband had sexually assaulted her despite the fact that they had been part of an intimate relationship.
According to Edwards, the area has grown very disinterested in the School Board chairwoman from last year.
He claimed that as long as she remains it, she will continue to be a distraction from the past and only get worse. My area of responsibility as a School Board member is to support our kids ‘academic success and academic outcomes. It is not related to the Zieglers ‘misadventures.
The Zieglers, Christian and Bridget, Edwards continued, “cannot any longer become near children or people policy” due to their campaigning against critical race theory and the conversation of LGBTQ+ issues in schools, which he claimed has harmed students ’emotional health.
Edwards, the single openly gay board member, had been formally assaulted by a woman who called him the “groomer” during the public comments section of the meeting. This was an offensive and homophobic slur. Bridget Ziegler, the seat at the time, refused to dismiss or stillness the woman, stating that stopping the speaker would only have heightened tensions and that specific attacks on elected officials occur on all sides.
Recent Moms For Liberty managers and co-founders Tina Descovich and Tiffany Justice stated in an emailed statement that was received by the Blade and various media outlets on Tuesday day:
“Reading about the major, criminal complaints against Christian Ziegler has certainly shaken us.” Any sexual abuse incident, in our opinion, should be taken severely and thoroughly investigated.
Nearly three years earlier, in January 2021, Bridget Ziegler announced her resignation from her position as co-founder of Parents for Liberty. Throughout the nation, she has continued to fight fervently for filial right.
“We reject your attacks,” said our critics, who have spew cruel vitriol over the past few days. We will keep giving ALL parents the tools they need to forge connections that will ensure the survival of our country and a growing educational system. Fundamental parental rights are the center of our attention, and we will always have a larger goal than any one individual.
Moms for Liberty chapters in different states have also been impacted by the fallout from the Ziegler’s hypocrisy scandal and allegations of murder and wrongdoing. Parents for Liberty claims that the organization has more than 300 pages spread across 47 states.
According to its book head Clarissa Paige, the Northumberland County section of Parents for Liberty is on pause as it separates from the national organization, according to The News-Item paper in Shamokin, Pennsylvania.
In response to a lack of transparency and picture in state institutions, Paige said she established the Northumberland County Book of Moms for Liberty in April 2022.
We achieved important milestones, she said, “by making sure school board members were guilty and encouraging the selection of guilty neighborhood leaders.”
Paige, who is the mother of three children who attend Warrior Run schools, has spoken out against the education, claiming it includes elements of social-emotional understanding or critical race theory, and has threatened legal repercussions for the school’s implementation of a mask mandate.
Paige disputed the Southern Poverty Law Center’s assertions that Parents for Liberty disseminates anti-LGBT pictures and speech.
According to Paige, Northumberland County Academic Alliance will continue to emphasize familial right in colleges and is seeking nonprofit status.
Elizabeth stated on Monday that “the voyage has always been the power of our local society, and we found all the help we need among us.” “We are going to keep up the fight for parental right with honor and integrity.”
The Blade Tuesday asked for comment, but Bridget Ziegler and her husband Christian didn’t respond.
