Brianna Ghey, a transgender girl who was accused of the “frenzied” death, admitted to having fantasized about killing her but had” no purpose” of doing so.
According to information provided to Manchester Crown Court, the suspect, child X, enjoyed “dark thoughts” about killing and torturing individuals.
After being lured to Linear Park in Culcheth, close to Warrington, in February, Brianna, 16, was stabbed 28 times in the head, neck, chest, and again with a hunting knife.
Both Girl X and another young person, just known as Boy Y, deny death and are blaming one another for it.
Both of them are presently 16 years old, but they were both 15 at the time of Brianna’s passing. Due to their age, neither plaintiff can be named.
a tool for searching the gloomy web
The accused claimed that when she was 14 years old, she started to be drawn to movies that featured murder, torture, and serial killers. She testified from behind a curtain so that she could n’t be seen by the general public.
She claimed that she even downloaded a gloomy web application to conduct for searches.
In his defense of female X, Richard Pratt KC questioned whether she had any desire to commit murder or commit torture after watching movies about it.
The adolescent claimed that although it did n’t, she “found the whole concept of it interesting, unique characters of serial killers and various ways they do have things out.”
She added that boy Y shared” related interests” with her.
” I would reveal my gloomy thoughts with you.” issues related to torturing and killing individuals. He may agree to it. He appeared to enjoy that kind of stuff, she remarked.
No problem with the transgender matter
She claimed she was n’t “obsessed” with Brianna but that she did find her “different” and “interesting.”
Boy Y had referred to Brianna as an “it” in Snapchat messages because, according to Girl X, “he does n’t agree with people who were trans or gay,” despite the fact that she said she had no problem with her being transgender.
She also denied attempting to give Brianna an overdose to remove her a few weeks prior to being stabbed, despite telling boy Y that she had administered Ibuprofen pills but had not passed away due to her great tolerance.
She claimed that despite having no intention of killing Brianna, she was dreaming about doing so.
Additionally, Mr. Pratt questioned Girl X about the reported” Kill list” of five other kids that she and son Y had.
She reiterated that she had no intention of putting these thoughts into action and that they were all really that—fantasies.
The prosecution goes on.
