On Saturday, President Joe Biden sparked outrage among liberals on social media when he declared Sunday, March 31, which just happens to be the day Transgender Day of Visibility is observed on this year’s occasion.
The International Transgender Day of Visibility was established on March 31, 2009, and has been observed on March 31 for more than ten years. The purpose of the day is to increase awareness of the bias that transgender people continue to face in addition to honoring them.
Easter typically occurs every year between March 22 and April 25. The date is determined as the first Sunday following the full moon on the day following the spring equinox.
On Friday, the White House sent out a news proclaiming March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility. The Biden presidency has already set the date for this yearly event, so this news is only a formality.
In the statement, Biden wrote, “Now, we send a message to all transgender Americans: You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You belong. You are America, and my whole Management and I have your back.”
Responding to Biden’s news, Charlie Kirk, founder and CEO of traditional party Turning Point USA, wrote on X, previously Online, “Joe Biden only proclaimed Easter Sunday a ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.’ Yes, he actually only did that. If you’re offended, that’s the place.”

What a slap in the face to all Catholics in America is the statement made by traditional political critic Benny Johnson: “Joe Biden has declared Easter Sunday a Transgender Day of Rankings.”
“America has been hijacked by loons,” wrote Abe Hamadeh, a Donald Trump-endorsed Republican candidate for Congress in Arizona.
Sara Gonzales, who hosts a display on liberal store Blaze Media, posted to X, “Joe Biden proclaims Easter Sunday as ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.’ As I have said, this is no longer left than correctly. This is great and terrible. It has never been more obvious.”
Steve Bannon, much-appreciated media personality and former White House key planner in the Trump administration, wrote on liberal social media site Gettr, in response to Biden’s announcement: “5 November 2024 Begins the Process of the Restoration of Decency@1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”
November 5, 2024, is the time of this year’s presidential vote, which will likely be between Biden, the Democratic president, and Trump, the presumed GOP presidential nomination.

Biden, who is a Catholic, has championed LGBTQ+ rights while in office, which he boasted about in his Transgender Visibility Day statement.

However, he admitted “there is much more to do” and called on Congress to pass the Equality Act, which would “codify civil rights protections for all LGBTQI+ Americans.”
Biden also condemned anti-trans youth laws proposed by “extremists” and bullying and discrimination of transgender people, calling it “un-American” and demanding that it “must end.”
In 2023, at least 510 anti-LGBTQ+ bills were introduced in state legislatures across the country, according to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Meanwhile, the White House will host its annual Easter Egg Roll on Monday, which will be filled with fun educational activities for children. After Congress made such activities against the U.S. Capitol grounds in 1876, President Rutherford B. Hayes made an announcement that children could roll Easter eggs at the White House known as the “Easter Egg Roll.”
