Doctor WHO: The BBC Addresses Anti-Trans Complaints As The First Spin-Off May Have Suddenly Been Revealed

For several decades now, we’ve been hearing rumors about one or more Doctor Who spin-offs. While some think it will concentrate on U.N.I.T., others are still convinced that David Tennant’s Fourteenth Doctor, who is still very much intact, will star in his own time-traveling activities.

Disney+’s financial involvement is probably a major factor in any spin-off strategies as the primary series returns in May. However, given that Russell T Davies, a returning showrunner, introduced Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures during his most recent run, perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised to see the Whoniverse grow once more!

We weren’t prepared for this rumored project to focus attention on the Sea Devils.

The showrunner Phil Collinson and producers Julie Gardner, Jane Tranter, and Vic Delow will serve as the series’ producers, according to a listing on ProductionList.com (via SFFGazette). However, shooting is reportedly going to start in Cardiff, Wales, this March.

A race of aquatic reptilian creatures known as the “Sea Devils” first made an appearance in the 1972 episode of the television series. During the Third Doctor’s rule, that was a period of the Jon Pertwee era.

The Silurians, a prehistoric and technologically advanced civilization that existed before civilization, are related to the Sea Devils. The Sea Devils, like the Silurians, are Earth-based animals that hibernated in order to adapt to changes in the climate of the planet. They were last seen in “Legend of the Sea Devils,” the show’s lowest-viewed event in 2022, despite receiving generally unfavorable opinions.

Therefore, we’d wager that this is a misdirection to confuse viewers and throw them off the rails!

The BBC has suddenly addressed new viewer concerns about the addition of a transgender figure in “The Star Beast” 60th anniversary special, played by Heartstopper celebrity Yasmin Finney, in related Doctor Who information.

“As regular viewers of Doctor Who will be informed, the show has and will always continue to happily honor diversity and reflect the world we live in,” the broadcaster said in a reaction to Deadline. We never lose sight of the importance in our episodes.

In other words, they won’t pay attention to those who criticized the Doctor Who franchise for embracing diversity, just like Davies did. Finney’s Rose Noble did return in the upcoming series with Ncuti Gatwa as Doctor, according to a new trailer for the season, so we’ll undoubtedly see more complaints then.
