EXCLUSIVE: British LGBT+ rights activist Peter Tatchell urges Spain’s second transgender man to “turn his returning on bloodsport”- Olive Press News Spain

Peter Tatchell, a BRITISH LGBTQ+ advocate, has urged Spain’s first transgender man to “turn his back” on the’obstructive ‘ gambling industry.

In January, Madrid’s 31-year-old man Mario Alcalde declared himself to be a transgender.

Human rights activist Peter Tatchell has just sent Alcalde a letter asking the matador to observe” the clear similarities between the tyranny of LGBTQ+ folks and that of creatures.”

The ritualized killing of innocent creatures leaves them with no choice but to go into the fighting band. They have no chance of remaining intact. Tatchell refers to the shooting of living, feeling creatures for leisure and pleasure.

” Our LGBT+ area has much fought injustice and oppression.

In a roundhouse, torturing animals to death is not only socially inadmissible, but it also goes against the charitable principles we as a society hold.

Alcalde became the first matador to speak out in front of El Mundo in a public meeting.

The transgender matador wants to start a gambling club in Chueca, Madrid’s LGBTI+ neighborhood, despite admitting that “everyone in the LGBTI+ community is opposed to bullfighting.”

I’m transgender, he said. I firmly identify with the LGBTI+ symbol. It’s great when you reveal who you are to someone in the LGBT community because they start to understand who you are.

” I have to do stuff to get the group to get involved.” They’ll stop by to see my fight. They initially seem very narrow-minded, there is too much ignorance, and they do n’t understand what bullfighting is all about.

Alcalde has previously ruled out discussing politics, saying that “artists should n’t do that.”

Tatchell’s letter is a part of PETA’s new campaign# NoEsMiCultura ( Not My Culture ), an animal rights organization.

The common legislative initiative, spearheaded by Spanish animal rights activists, aims to overturn the definition of bullfighting as” social heritage.”

Additionally, it aims to enable neighborhood groups in the fight against sport.

They remarked,” Every year, dozens of cows are tormented and slaughtered in bullrings around the world. They are constantly stabbed and spearheaded until they are killed.

The renowned Section 28 is being protested by Peter Tatchell.

Matadors “may even cut off bulls ‘ ears or tail as trophies,” they say,” often while the animal is also mindful.”

The” sport” has drawn a lot of controversy in Spain for many years and is prohibited in some autonomous communities like Catalunya.

But, bullfights are also regarded as a fundamental component of Spanish personality in some regions of the nation, and they are still frequently practiced.

Bullfighters frequently make claims that the pets “live a fine living” before entering the ring.

Tatchell, who was born in Australia, has dedicated his life to fighting for LGBTQ+ people’s freedom.

He is a vocal supporter of animal rights, claiming that “human right and pet rights are two components of the same battle against unfairness.”
