I’m sorry, but I must break some expected but unsatisfactory news. House Bill 71 was prevented from going into effect on January 1 by U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill. Children would have been shielded from cruel female mutilation procedures and medications that prevent puberty from ever ending. Winmill voiced his viewpoint on Tuesday.
Over the years, Winmill, one of Idaho’s most communist judges, has rendered numerous unfavorable decisions. Winmill is definitely at his worst when he compares female mutilation to interracial marriage, access to contraception, and the protection of recently freed slaves following the Civil War. Winmill also relied on the World Professional Association for Transgender Health’s highly contentious recommendations. His decision disregards the fact that young people were negatively impacted by the efforts of fundamentalist intellectual groups to alter how transgenderism is categorized.
Where do we go from here, then? In the forthcoming legislative session, our team will be debating some of my proposals with lawmakers. First of all, it is more crucial than ever that Idaho citizens stop funding medical schools that instruct in female surgery. Additionally, Idaho voters probably didn’t anticipate that Medicaid expansion would be used to pay for medical conditions directly related to transgenderism when they passed it five years ago.
All in all, the battle is far from over. The corrupt medical industrial complex and the corrupt judiciary won’t prevent us from achieving our goal of shielding children from the evil agenda of the Left.
I can’t emphasize enough how crucial it is that you participate actively in the upcoming session. Our legislators need to hear from you urgently. This means that you will need to be able to communicate with your senators and representatives and get their attention from those who are supposed to speak for you. In order to help you get ready for this crucial function ahead, we are holding our future Government 101 and 201 groups.
