In a brand-new special called “The…,” Dave Chappelle makes jokes about transgender and disabled individuals.

In his new stand-up special “The Dreamer,” which debuted on Netflix on Sunday, Dave Chappelle once more takes aim at the transgender community as well as people with disabilities.

Deadline reports that Chappelle, 50, begins the special by remembering the moment he first met comedian Jim Carrey, 61, on the “Man On The Moon” set. In the 1999 movie, Carrey plays the late performer Andy Kaufman.

“I was extremely frustrated because I had to spend the entire day pretending to be Andy Kaufman in order to meet Jim Carrey. Jim Carrey was clearly there,” Chappelle sets up the joke. “I could look at him and see that it was Jim Carrey.”

Chappelle remarked, “I say all that to say… that’s how transgender people make me feel.”

Chappelle then shifts to those who are disabled.

“The Dreamer” comes after Chappelle’s controversial Netflix special “The Closer” from 2021. YouTube

“I’m making all kinds of disabled jokes now,” he said. “I love punching up, and they’re not as organized as the gays.”

Chappelle briefly mentions meeting former North Carolina representative Madison Cawthorn, 28, who is wheelchair-bound after being partly paralyzed in a car accident in 2014.

“I just walked away,” Chappelle chuckles. “I wanted him to witness me perform a task that he was unable to perform. I sped off.”

After mocking the transgender community in his 2021 special “The Closer,” which resulted in a significant staff walkout at Netflix and protests, the comedian ultimately returns to transgender topics in “The Dreamer.”

A Netflix spokesperson said at the time, “We value our transgender colleagues and allies, and we understand the deep hurt that’s been caused. We acknowledge that there is much more work to be done both within Netflix and in our content, and we respect the decision of any individual who chooses to leave.”

Regarding “The Dreamer,” The Post contacted Netflix representatives.

In the new special, Chappelle explains, “To be completely honest, I’ve been working to mend my relationship with the transgender community because I don’t want them to think I dislike them. Do you know how I have been mending it? A play that I wrote. I acted. I know that gay people love plays.”

“It’s an extremely depressing play. The play is about a black trans woman whose nouns are racial slurs,” he continues, adding, “but it’s moving. It’s a tear-jerker, I tell you. She dies of loneliness at the play’s conclusion because white liberals don’t know how to approach her. It’s depressing.”

“God forbid I ever go to prison,” he chuckles afterward. “I hope it’s in California, though, if I do. I’ll say, ‘I want the court to hear I identify as a woman before you sentence me,’ as soon as the judge sentences me. I want to go to a woman’s prison. You know what I’m going to be doing as soon as I enter. Before I push your motherf**king teeth out, give me your grape cocktail, b***h. Like you, I’m a woman, b***h. I’ve got a woman, so come on in and swallow her. Please don’t demand an explanation from me. I’m a woman.”

Weeks after the “Half Baked” comedian stormed off the stage during a Florida concert on Wednesday after he caught an audience member on the phone, Chappelle’s routine was abandoned.

The comedian reportedly warned the security staff at the venue before berating the audience and leaving the stage while shaking his head in dissatisfaction.

The show was apparently “device and electronics-free, per the artist’s request,” according to the Hard Rock Live website.

All attendees, including cell phones, had to be left secured in Yondr Neoprene pouches.

DJ Trauma, who provided the on-stage presentations for Chappelle, even forewarned the crowd that phones would not be permitted and that anyone caught using one would be expelled.

Chappelle’s representatives were contacted by The Post for comment.
