J.K. Rowling has a clear message for “Harry Potter” stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe – if they someday decide to apologize for criticizing her stance on trans issues, they can “save” it for “traumatized detransitioners” and “vulnerable women” instead.
The famous author made the comment on X Wednesday in response to a user who partially identified himself as #FarRightHooligan, who speculated that Rowling and other stars would eventually give her a “very public apology… safe in the knowledge that you will accept them.”
“No, I’m afraid,” Rowling replied. Celebrities who supported a movement that wanted to “erode” children’s hard-won rights and used their platforms to support the transition of minors can save their apologies for traumatized detransitioners and vulnerable women who rely on single-sex spaces.
In light of her popular mechanisms of natural people and her vocal criticism of the transgender community on the X system, Rowling’s ties with Watson and Radcliffe have deteriorated.

Watson and Radcliffe, meanwhile, have stood firm in supporting the transgender area, with Watson insisting that “transgender people are who they say they are” in an X article after Rowling went viral in 2020 for criticizing an essay mentioning “people who menstruate” and calling for the use of the term “women” instead.
At the time, Watson even wrote, “I want my trans fans to know that I and so many others around the world respect and love you for who you are.”
Radcliffe, however, showed his support by writing an essay for The Trevor Project to show support for the trans community and even apologized “for the problems” Rowling’s comments had caused, according to The Independent.
