Ministers may look into the “intimidation” trans rights activists experience from people.
The subjects minister, Laura Farris, announced that she would meet with MP Joanna Cherry to discuss conducting a “rapid evaluation” of the effects of intense transgender activism on women’s rights.
She criticized the violence perpetrated by people and advised Members to have” no question” about the government’s” stake in this.”
The news came after the gender-critical organization Sex Matters petitioned Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, pleading with him to “take immediate action to end an intensifying campaign of violence and intimidation against ladies in the name of trans rights.”
Campaigners cited an August situation in which a violent crime was found not guilty of inciting violence against women despite digital information.
