On his latest Netflix specific, Dave Chappelle mocks transgender individuals once more.

Dave Chappelle is receiving criticism for making fun of transgender individuals in his most recent Netflix special. The Dreamer started by discussing Dave’s rise to fame. He later began to tell a story about the time he went to the Man on the Moon set to meet Jim Carrey.

“I wanted to meet Jim Carrey, who was method acting,” but I had to act like Andy Kaufman instead. The entire day,” he said. “I could see that he was Jim Carrey when I looked at him.”

Anyway, he continued, “I say all of that to say: That’s how trans people make me feel.” The LGBTQ+ group has previously criticized Dave for making fun of them during his shows.

He told the audience during the most recent show, “If you guys came here to this show tonight thinking I’m going to make fun of those people again, you’ve come to the wrong show.” “I’m no longer f—king with those people.” It wasn’t worth the trouble to go through. I’m not going to say anything about them.

Even three or four times now, but that’s all, he said. “I’m sick of bringing them up.”

Dave clarified that he would stop talking about them because “people acted like [he] needed them to be funny.”

Also, that’s ridiculous, he said. “I’m not in need of you. I’m about to get a completely new perspective. You guys won’t see this coming,” he continued. “I’m no longer making transgender jokes.”

He continued by saying that he would then start making fun of the disabled community because “they’re certainly not as organized as the lesbians.” “And I enjoy punching up,” he added.

Despite his assurances, he spoke about the trans community once more, opening up about his efforts to strengthen his bond with them. “I wrote a play.” “I did it because I know that gay people love to play,” he said.

It’s about a black transgender woman who, unfortunately, has the nerve to use the n-word. “It’s a tear-jerker,” he said, calling the play “terrible but moving.” She dies of grief at the play’s conclusion because white progressives are unable to communicate with her. “It’s sad.”

Dave even cracked a joke about how, if he is imprisoned, “he will identify as a woman.” “Send me to a women’s prison. You know what I’m going to be doing as soon as I get in there,” he said.

“I’m a woman, too, b****, just like you.” Dave said, “Come here and swallow this lady d—k I got.” “Don’t ask for an explanation from me. I’m a woman.”

Dave even remembered how he was attacked on stage in 2022 at the Hollywood Bowl. He was allegedly attacked by someone brandishing a fake gun and carrying real knives. He joked that the knife was mistaken for a gun and that he had “triggered” the suspect because of his comments about the LGBTQIA+ community. He added that he discovered the perpetrator was bi and made a joke about how “he could have been raped.”

This show, which was filmed in his hometown of Washington, D.C., like many of his other productions, received harsh criticism.
