Riley Gaines, an advocate for women’s rights, lately expressed her views on the comments made by Lieutenant Colonel Bree Fram regarding the participation of transgender people in the federal security program.
In October, Lieutenant Colonel Fam made a demonstration at Fortune’s Most Effective People Summit, where she underlined the significance of several ideas in the process of improving the effectiveness of various security companies.
“Inclusion is a national security imperative. We fight now, and we are going to struggle in the future using mental strength. And if that head is going to improve the way we fight, and the place we fight in computer just happens to be in a trans system, you may want them all serving alongside me. And for your business, it is the same manner. The views that we get from our different set of individuals have been talked about a lot on level regarding the knowledge of large-performing teams”.
We need those ideas. It’s inclusion that actually drives that, because you can bring people in, and if they don’t feel safe speaking up, if they don’t feel safe bringing their full selves to work, you are not going to get the value of the diversity. But for us, it is absolutely crucial to drive our potential success as an organization and likely on the battlefield. I think it is the same for all of you. We can’t leave that talent that is going to revolutionize the way we do business behind”.
Reacting to Lt. Colonel Fam’s statements, Riley Gaines, known for her forthright opinions, responded on X (formerly Twitter), expressing skepticism about the focus on identity politics in national security.
She implied that countries like China may see the U.S.’s focus on inclusivity over standard security concerns as a point of weakness, suggesting that the U.S. is compromising on its own strengths.
On her X social media account, Gaines commented,

Riley Gaines has voiced her frustration with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in response to his determination to reject House Bill 68. Recent studies on Governor Dewine have added to Gaines ‘frustration.
The information suggests that Governor Dewine has accepted gifts from several companies that advocate for transgender medical treatment. Riley Gaines believes that this has, to a large degree, influenced his decision.
This money has been through the course of several years of combined efforts from companies such as the Ohio Children’s Hospital Association, Cincinnati Children’s, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and ProMedica Children’s Hospital.
On her X social media account, Gaines shared her feelings, stating,
