Rishi Sunak, according to Alan Cumming, “denies the life” of transgender people

The 58-year-old actor objected to Sunak’s remarks that the American public was being “bullied” into thinking that “people can be any intercourse they want to be” at the Conservative Party Conference in October.

That’s just common sense, he said, adding, “A man is a gentleman, and d’a person.”

Alan, who has long been a supporter of LGBT right, said on 5 News that he thinks the discussion of transgender rights is part of an ongoing cultural conflict.

I think that, you know, the kind of society wars are so terrible, he said. We don’t really discuss policies, real issues, or things that are really significant.
