Following a parliamentary investigation into the Biden administration’s proposed Title IX changes, a document detailing the “helplessness” experienced by female students while participating in their adult sports teams was scheduled to be released on Thursday.

Sen. Bill Cassidy, R- La., the ranking member on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions ( HELP), is expected to launch the results of the committee owner’s research into the proposed changes and their impact on adult activities in a letter to his commission colleagues. The research included conversations with dozens of people, including sexual sports and instructors, parents, industry experts, doctors and representatives from higher- learning institutions, Cassidy said.

Title IX is intended to stop sex-based bias in educational institutions and related fields that are funded by the federal government.

A concept that would add gender identity to Title IX along with natural sex was proposed by President Biden’s administration next year. The word “gender identity” is used to identify by which sex an entity chooses to discover.

” They feel helpless”, Cassidy told Fox News Digital in an interview on Wednesday, describing the sentiments he heard from female athletes.

” This is kind of a design that we got: ‘ Why am I even trying? I do n’t have any hope whatsoever,'” he said.

The HELP commission report details the tale of a person who attended Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, and described her inspiring collapse as a result of the addition of a trans woman, who was medically female, to her swim team.

” It felt unfair and demotivating … to even want to try ]or ] to want to swim better”, the unnamed female athlete is quoted as saying.

In a letter to the athletic director, sixteen of the 17 sexual athletes on the team eventually stated that they felt “manipulated and scared.”

” Our voices as women were completely silenced”, they said. ” If we wanted privacy and safety and equality, then we were bigots. This has roots in misogyny, and allowing this to go on is misogynistic”.

” This is not bigotry”, Cassidy said, noting that those interviewed for the investigation did not have anything against transgender individuals.

He said,” These people we interviewed stressed that they do n’t have any issues with transgender people as individuals.”

Riley Gaines, a former NCAA champion swimmer at the University of Kentucky, told the committee that female competitors were never warned about having to share their locker room with biological males, with male anatomy, at the 2022 NCAA Championship. Gaines claimed she “experienced feelings of betrayal” when she realized that this was the case. When she questioned the policy, she claimed that if women felt uncomfortable about it, they should feel apologized and that they were ultimately those who needed to go to counseling to change it.

Since experiencing this, Gaines, an OutKick contributor and host for” Gaines for Girls”, has become an advocate for protecting women’s sports.

The proposed Title IX rule change, according to Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, was proposed because “every student should be able to have the full experience of attending school in America, including participating in athletics, free from discrimination,” said the Secretary of Education.

At the time the rule was made, he said,” Students of all ages are important players in the educational experience.”

However, Cassidy refrained from doing so, calling this rule” the death of Title IX.”

” I find it ironic that the Biden administration talks about the mental health of transgender people as a justification for pushing those,” he said.

The senator claimed that they are completely disregarding the mental health and the feelings of fairness of the women competing.

By ensuring that women are given a fair shot in relation to men, Cassidy added that, as an alternative,” We are trying to uphold the original intent of Title IX.”

On Wednesday, Sen. Tommy Tuberville, a fellow HELP member, and Cassidy wrote letters to the NCAA and Cardona asking about the organization’s policies regarding transgender participation, their enforcement, and official correspondence on the subject.

When Fox News Digital contacted them, neither the NCAA nor the Department of Education responded.
