Teenagers accused of killing Brianna Ghey “talked about abuse videos.”

A judge heard today that two teenagers plotted to trap a transgender girl to the playground, where one of them repeatedly stabbed her. They had made up lists of people they wanted to kill.

According to the jury, Brianna Ghey, 16, died at the picture after being found face-down in clay in February after suffering 28 independent stab wounds from a hunting knife.

According to Manchester Crown Court, her reported killers—a boy and a girl who were both 15 at the time—were “preoccupied with murder, torture, and death” and had exchanged messages about how they wanted to murder people they knew.

The trial claimed that the two, who are known only as Girl X and Boy Y due to their advanced age, created a list of five people they desired to murder. Both contest crime.

They are said to have focused on Brianna, with whom Girl X had developed an “obsession,” when their initial intended specific” smelled a rat.”

They first debated whether to poison Brianna with prescription medication using messages in which the child referred to her as “it,” according to prosecutor Deanna HeerKC.

The two then focused on luring Brianna to a garden close to her hometown of Warrington, Cheshire, where they intended to” stab her in the rear and throat,” she claimed.

Girl X reportedly wrote to Boy Y,” I want to kill her at least once, even if she’s dead, just for fun bro.”

However, Brianna was unable to attend the scheduled meeting, so the two kept making programs, according to Ms. Heer.

A dog walker discovered Brianna bleeding on the ground in Culcheth Linear Park, close to Warrington, Cheshire, two weeks later, on February 11 of this year, along with two teens who had been seen fleeing.

According to Miss Heer, she had suffered” cataplexing blood loss” after being stabbed 28 times in the head, neck, back, and chest, with her jugular vein severed.

Jurors were informed that” significant power” would have been needed to cause the injury.

Brianna was declared dead at the scene at 4.02 p.m. after receiving another weapon punch to the heart, she continued.

There was” no dispute,” according to the test, that Girl X and Boy Y, who are both presently 16 years old, were the ones who were seen fleeing or that they had talked about killing Brianna.

However, both deny taking part in the murder, judges were informed, and otherwise place the blame on one another.

But, Miss Heer asserted that “whoever delivered the deadly blows, both defendants are extremely guilty” in the prosecution situation.

She continued,” They planned and carried out their plan to kill her while acting up.”

Miss Heer claimed that the two exchanged a series of communications referring to the girl as “it” in the days prior to Brianna’s stabbing, with Girl X claiming to be “obsessed” with her.

Boy Y sent a text to Girl X saying,” Yeah, it’ll be easier, and I want to see if it will scream like in the person or the child,” after giving up on their plan to kill their primary goal.

Miss Heer asked Boy Y if he should take his knife, and Girl X replied that it was “definitely strong much.”

After they met, Girl X explained to Boy Y that the strategy was to “grab Brianna and slit her throat when she starts to fall, then move me razor.”

I want to kill her at least once, even if she is dead, just because it’s excitement, she continued.

According to the witnesses, Girl X may look at Boy Y and coughing to signal that it was time to get the knife “ready,” and then she would say “gay” to suggest that he stab Brianna.

In any case, Brianna messaged to let Boy Y know she was” f****** p****d” and that she could n’t come after all.

She suggested killing Brianna by giving her an abuse of cocaine in a after message, but she afterwards told Boy X,” This really kill her.” It’s more enjoyable.

According to the jury, Girl X and Boy Y have known one another since they were around 11 years old.

Although Girl X had a partner, it appears that Boy Y had “attraction” to another woman, who can only be referred to as Girl A, and wanted to know if she liked him.

She and Boy Y had a conversation about killing Boy M in November 2022, during which Girl X claimed to possess Sweeney Todd’s “really strong knife.”

Boy Y allegedly responded to her messages about wanting to remove his teeth and eye by saying,” And if you cut his heels and chop his tongue, he ca n’t run or talk.”

Leigh, Greater Manchester resident Boy Y made an appearance while sporting a top, black pants, and dark connect.

Jurors were informed that Girl X had been found to exhibit “high levels of anxiety” and” qualities of autism and ADHD” while being held in a safe system.

They were informed that Boy X had both a “high level of social worry” and dementia.

Additionally, since being held, his “verbal communication” had been “very limited.”

The trial judge, Mrs. Justice Yip, informed them that as a result, the test is being conducted with “more directness” than usual, with both accused being assisted in following proceedings by “mediators.”

Esther, Brianna’s family, and her new companion had just arrived at judge.

Peter Spooner, Brianna’s parents, arrived this morning and rubbed his eye.

Prior to her passing, Mrs. Justice Yip informed potential jury that Brianna was a young woman at the time of her suicide but was actually born as Brett Spooner.

The fact that Brianna was trans was one feature that received some attention at the time, she told them, adding that there was a lot of media coverage and social media policy.

The judge informed the jury that they might have “formed some first confused views about the case” in the past.

However, she asserted that the majority of people are able to ignore information they have learned from the media or social media in favor of focusing on the information.

Test is still ongoing.
