The women’s charity at the UN chooses a trans unit to be the “UK champion.”

A transsexual model chosen to represent American women has drawn criticism from a UN women’s charity.

A text opposing the selection of dissident Munroe Bergdorf as the first “UK hero” for UN Women UK has been signed by at least 17 promotion groups.

At British Vogue, Ms. Bergdorf, 36, is a concept, journalist, and contributing writer.

In November, she was chosen by the nonprofit organization that supports UN Women’s efforts to enhance the lives of women and women.

However, organizations like Fair Play for Women, Sexual Things, Transgender Trend, and the Children’s Rights Network expressed their “dismay and sadness” at the choice in a text, according to The Times.

Ms Bergdorf, 36, a model and broadcaster as well as a contributing editor at British Vogue, was appointed as the first 'UK Champion' for UN Women UK in November
But at least 17 campaign groups have criticised Ms Bergdorf's appointment, saying she is 'unsuitable in every regard' for the role due to her previous alleged 'homophobic and racist posts'

They referred to her as “unsuitable in every way” and cited her prior alleged “homophobic and prejudiced messages on social multimedia.”

She was fired by L’Oreal in 2017 for a blog in which she claimed that all white people were prejudiced in response to the murder of white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was rehired three years later.

Ms. Bergdorf was also compelled to apologize following the publication of ancient social media messages in 2012 in which she called a Twitter disciple “hairy barren lesbian” and stated that she wanted to “gay bash” an TV star.

The organizations stated in the letter that Munroe Bergdorf’s well-publicized activism is no pro-women. This individual has objected to girls mentioning our female body.

It was “rare” that” we get to see transgender people have a seat or voice at these tables,” according to Ms. Bergdorf, who added that her nomination was n’t something she” took lightly.” UN Women UK and Ms. Bergdorf were contacted for remark.
