A few progressive churches, religious institutions, and LGBTQ+ businesses are observing the fact that Easter Sunday, in 2024, is Transgender Day of Visibility, which is observed annually on March 31.

Biden was attacked on X for the declaration by several social media users, including former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and other Republican lawmakers.

Traditional Christians view transgender ideology as being incongruent with the Gospel.
