Transgender Advocate Lays Out Therefore- Called’ Moral Case’ for’ Transitioning’ Kids

The article” Freedom of Intercourse: The moral case for letting trans children change their systems” was written by transgender-identifiable activist Andrea Long Chu, who was born Andrew.

In the shocking writing, Chu argues that children should be able to notice to experimental, body- torturing drugs, hormones and surgeries for any purpose:

We will never be able to defend transgender children’s right until we fully understand them as full members of society who want to switch their gender. It makes no difference where this wish originates [hereafter ]

Even if they eventually decide they dread the irreparable harm their bodies had caused, children should be able to choose risky and empirical medical procedures despite their lack of emotional and mental growth. And for Chu, it would be even better if” Medicare for All” was available to cover this child amputation.

Because, after all,” Where there is freedom, there will always be dread. In fact, there cannot be regret without freedom” ]emphasis in original].

As we’ll notice, the content has elicited indignation from all over the political band, with some questioning the writer’s logic and conclusions, as well as why New York published the item in the first place.

Chu tries to argue that intercourse, whether it be male or female, is certainly important. It’s fine to deny reality. He writes:

To confront the reality of biological sex is not, by definition, to swear fealty to that reality, no one knows this better than a child who wishes to have their biological sex changed ]emphasis added ].

The content is actually mistitled. It’s no “freedom of intercourse” Chu is arguing for, but “freedom from sex”.

Chu believes the reality of sex does n’t matter. The artist explains:

Sex is true. … Despite the fact that fact is true, I believe, is a good description of nihilism.

Chu is evidently a worried individual. A person who considers himself to be a gay, Chu wrote an opinion part for The New York Times,” My New Vagina Won’t Make Me Happy” and writes in the book Women,” Sissy video did make me transgender”.

Although claiming to be female, British journalist and author Joan Smith claims that Chu” conflates the concept of being a woman with being passive and victimized in a way so extreme that it’s distasteful to quote.”

She adds that his “religious ideas about being female”” seem to come from porn and popular culture.”

Dr. Al Mohler, president of Southern Baptist Seminary, makes the claim that Chu is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist ( though that does n’t necessarily mean anything; think about Pulitzer winners like Walter Duranty and Nikole Hannah-Jones with her widely detested 1619 Project and Walter Duranty and his lies about Stalinist Russia ).

Mohler emphasizes that Chu is an influential author who has written for” a major American magazine” and is “unashamed to put this on the front cover.” He explains that the target audience is” the medical establishment, the cultural elites, the kind of people who live in New York City and read New York Magazine“.

These are people with influence, Mohler says, so even if “you think you’re safe from all of this, recognize that it’s in places like]New York ] that the policies are made that are going to be imposed upon Birmingham, Alabama”.

Chu argues that medical” transitioning” of children is a “rights” issue, not a “medical” issue requiring scientific evidence for the safety and efficacy of treatments.

Jesse Singal, a journalist and podcaster, accurately refutes this, saying:

This is very silly either/or framing. Questions about course rights and medical questions are related. …

Moreover, Chu is simply smuggling her premise into her framing: it is widely recognized that minors do not have the same rights as adults, because, due to their incomplete development, they lack the cognitive powers adults use to make fraught decisions, or to weigh long- term consequences.

Chu argues that media outlets somehow made the issue of mutilating minors a “medical issue,” and Singal claims that medical professionals who” transition” minors were the ones who sparked the debate:

Think about it: on the one hand, you have the small army of psychiatrists, endocrinologists, psychologists, and others who held conferences, published papers, formed professional societies, and opened clinics, all on the basis of the supposed efficacy of youth gender medicine. On the other hand, there are journalists who have covered this emerging movement. Who do you believe is more accountable for “making this into” a medical issue?

Bethel McGrew, in an article titled” When evil is unmasked” in WORLD, boils down Chu’s lengthy article into its essential point:

His thesis is shockingly simple: The freedom to change one’s body is a basic human right. Children are humans. Thus, they should have the freedom to change their bodies.

Many individuals who wrestle with sexual identity confusion are dealing with real pain from self- hatred, sexual abuse, serious mental and psychological problems, trauma and broken relationships. We treat people with kindness and grace, pointing to real healing through Christ, as humans were created in the image and likeness of God.

However, the movement to medically mutilate children and adults in a vain attempt to” transition” them into the other sex or some indeterminate “gender” and the ideology itself must be opposed.

McGrew describes the transgender movement’s underlying motivation:

The main thrust of trans rights activism has never been a sincere concern for transgender people’s physical and mental well-being. It has been the demand for absolute emancipation, absolute autonomy, at any cost.

And she is n’t afraid to criticize it for being” the face of pure evil” in reality.
