Trump is described as a “bully” who poses a threat to Gay individuals by Jill Biden.

Jill Biden urged voters to “fight like hell” on Friday to prevent President Biden from defeating her father in November by calling his opponent, Donald Trump, a “bully” who is “dangerous” to their country.

She claimed that lawmakers are passing laws “targeting our community” and that outside forces are working to undo the group’s “hard-won gains” by stripping away rights and freedoms. She urged members to work day and night until the Nov. 5 vote to increase bipartisan support for Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic nominee for president.

Citizens in this demographic overwhelmingly voted for Biden in 2020. The LGBTQ community needs the president’s support as he faces a slight dip in approval ratings and softening support among other key demographics that backed him in 2020.

“Donald Trump is a danger. He is harmful to the LGBTQ community, to our families, to our country, and we cannot let him win,” the First Lady said at the event hosted by the Human Rights Campaign, a leading civil rights organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people.

“We have to fight like hell. Now, Monday, and every day after, until the November 5 election results are announced, until Joe and Kamala are elected to another term. When all people, in all places, can live peacefully in a loving environment,” she said.

Trump’s team did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Human Rights Campaign event came a week after “Out for Biden-Harris” was launched, a campaign created by the administration’s election team to sway LGBTQ voters.

Jill Biden stated in her speech that the president has supported LGBTQ people by passing the Respect for Marriage Act, banning discrimination based on gender identity, allowing transgender individuals to serve openly in the military, and opposing conversion therapy.

She warned that external forces are attempting to “undo these hard-earned gains.”

“They want to roll back our victories but we won’t let them,” Biden said. “Your president won’t allow it. I won’t allow it.”
