Trump problems Biden over Transgender Day of Visibility and Easter.

Donald Trump, his battle, and his friends made up allegations that Biden had recently made it illegal for children to submit spiritual chicken designs to a White House Easter artwork contest.

Trump announced that he was selling $60 books on Sunday, which attracted censure from Democrats and some religious leaders, and he also fired off numerous social media posts that targeted his political rivals and criticized his legal issues.

The White House issued a proclamation recognizing Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility on Friday, prompting the White House to “meet us in working toward eliminating crime and discrimination based on gender identity.”

The affirmation was not recent. The Biden presidency has observed International Transgender Day of Visibility every year since Biden was elected, and since 2009, it has been held annually on March 31. The date of Easter, however, changes from year to year, falling on the first Sunday after the entire moon that follows the spring equinox.

Trump and Republicans, however, instantly cast the accident as an assault on Easter. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) accused the White House of “betraying the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” the premise that predominated Easter.

It is outrageous and awful to “proclaim Easter Sunday as” Transgender Day” while abusing spiritual wisdom and history at the same time. Johnson wrote in a blog on X that “the British people are taking notice.”

Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign, claimed in a speech on Saturday that Biden should declare Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday and that it was “blasphemous” to “impersonate the thousands of Christians and Catholics across America who think the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the day to celebrate.”

Since the original are Catholics as well, it is unclear why the statement made a distinction between Catholics and Catholics.

When Leavitt was questioned on Sunday, he did not address the matter, but he once more made the false claim that Biden “choose” Easter to recognize Transgender Day of Visibility, despite the fact that it has fallen on March 31 since 2009, and Leavitt did not address the issue. Leavitt said in a statement to The Washington Post that “the Biden Administration has spent decades disrespecting the Christian faith.”

Biden, a devoted Catholic, speaks usually about his beliefs and attends church every weekend. He is the next Catholic to become U.S. senator. On Sunday night, he issued a declaration celebrating Easter traditions.

“As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus ‘ sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the gift of the sun of new options”, Biden said. “And with war and fight taking a toll on honest lives around the world, we renew our commitment to work for peace, security, and respect for all people”.

Lake also criticized Biden for allegedly prohibiting “kids from submitting spiritual chicken models for their Easter Art Event,” referring to a long-standing Easter custom that requires children of National Guard members to post decorated egg to be displayed at the White House.

The laws governing what can be decorated in the Easter egg battle have remained constant for more than 45 years, including during the Trump presidency, according to the American Egg Board, which oversees the competition. Competition guidelines state that eggs “must not include any doubtful content, religious symbols, openly spiritual themes, or political political statements”.

According to Emily Metz, president and CEO of the American Egg Board,” The Egg Board and other commodities boards are prohibited from discriminating in all development and actions on the basis of religion, political beliefs, and all other reported classes.”

Republicans and conservative outlets, including South Dakota governor, were not abetted by that. Kristi L. Noem, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and Fox News — from playing up the restrictions, suggesting that they were new to the Biden administration.

On CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, Sen. Raphael G. Warnock (D-Ga.), a senior pastor at historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, defended Biden, pointing out that the date for Easter changes every year.

“Apparently, the speaker finds trans people ‘abhorrent,’ and I think he ought to think about that,” Warnock said. The Christian faith is at odds with this. Jesus centered the marginalized, he centered the poor. And in a situation like this, we need voices, especially those who believe in using our faith not as a means of bringing other people to justice, but as a bridge to bringing us all together.

Andrew Bates, a White House spokesman, criticized Trump for selling $60 Bibles and his rhetoric over Easter weekend in a statement released on Sunday.

President Biden “stands for bringing people together and upholding the dignity and freedoms of every American,” according to Bates, a Christian who observes Easter with family. “Sadly, it’s unsurprising politicians are seeking to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric. Biden will never use his faith for political gain or for political gain.

Trump also posted an article on Saturday to his social media accounts that compared his legal issues to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Trump claimed in another all-caps post to his social media platform on Sunday that the holiday was unconstitutional.

The Republican nominee’s latest use of increasingly violent imagery this campaign season came on Friday when Trump shared an image of Biden holding his hands and feet together on social media.

Trump urged his supporters to purchase his Bibles, which also contained a handwritten chorus by singer and supporter Lee Greenwood to “God Bless the USA.” Trump licensed his name, likeness, and image to sell the Bibles through CIC Ventures LLC, for which Trump serves as “manager, president, secretary, and treasurer”.

The former president has sold other Trump-branded items since leaving office, including digital trading cards, cologne, and $399 “Never Surrender” sneakers. Trump’s pitches are intended to help his campaign, but the majority of them appear to be for him, especially as his legal troubles come to an end.
