Two trans people were detained on Thursday in Baltimore after being accused of forcing a member of the community to bite a slipper. On Wednesday, a video of the incident where one of the two transgender people was forced to kiss their shoe after spitting on it went viral on social media.
The two sufferers were also reportedly tonsured.
According to deputy superintendent of police Mohammad Faheem Qureshi, a Bibipur native and resident, Puja claimed some persons unlawfully placed Payal and Naina in a car on March 10 while performing in the Bahorwa community.
