  • The valuation dropped from$ 5.3 billion on March 14 to$ 4.9 billion on March 19
  • Following a week of controversy, the treadmill chain decided to outlaw a representative who shared a photo of a” trans person” using a feminine changing place.

After they banned a member who shared a photo of a” trans woman” using a female locker room, Planet Fitness ‘ valuation dropped$ 400 million in five days.

The company’s value dropped from$ 5.3 billion on March 14 to$ 4.9 billion on March 19, and its shares are down by 13.59 percent compared to a month ago.

The reduction comes after Planet Fitness’s decision to reverse its decision to ban a member who earlier this month exposed a” transgender person” shaving in a sexual locker room.

Patricia Silva was told to leave the Alaskan treadmill after sharing an net story about seeing a trans woman in her bag space.

Following the controversy surrounding the moratorium, the organization stated that although some members may feel uneasy sharing facilities,” this pain is never a reason to deny entry to the transgender member.”

The company's valuation plummeted from $5.3 billion on March 14 to $4.9 billion on Tuesday and only rallied slightly on Wednesday

Patricia Silva was banned from Planet Fitness after she shared a photo of 'a man with a penis' who was using the female locker room to shave

After her encounter, Silva took to Facebook to tell people about her experience and recounted her argument with the transgender individual- Planet Fitness would go on to ban Silva and file a police report against her

Planet Fitness' policy stated that 'discomfort is not a reason to deny access to the transgender member.'

The company’s stock fell by 7.8 percent on Tuesday, going from its opening price of$ 59.44 to a five- month low of$ 54.80, it then rebounded slightly.

In early March, Silva uploaded a picture to Facebook in which she describes her time working out at the gym.

She said she had really finished working out at Planet Fitness ‘ Fairbanks place, when she saw the man, whom she called’ a person with a penis,’ carrying out his routine in front of a 12- year- older girl.

Torres, who has recently run for Fairbanks Borough Assembly, claimed that the” trans person” may actually be using the female locker room. The transgender woman responded that they were “LGB.”

Silva then shared a photo of the individual and wrote,” I only came out of Planet Fitness,” in a Facebook picture.

‘ There is a person cutting in the children’s bathroom. I love him in Christ. He is a moral be having a human knowledge.

‘ He does n’t like his gender so he wants to be a woman, but I’m not comfortable with him shaving in my bathroom. I really thought I’d say it out loud.’

Silva also described the incident in a written article virtual. He has shared QAnon conspiracy ideas on social media.

‘ I went to earth health … Walked in the bath, and there stands a MAN cutting… I looked at him, said’ hey’ … he looked up … and I said,’ You are a man cutting in the women’s toilet, and I am never OK with that.’

‘ He replied … ‘ Well, I’m LGB… ‘

‘ Whatever that is … however, I told him’ You’re a MAN and you’re invading my place!’

‘ He wanted to argue to justify why he can be there … I walked aside…

I walked out of the locker room and yelled at the front desk,” I’m not okay with that… I’m not aware that there is a MAN shaving in the children’s bathroom!” The two men were standing at the table, their heads were stowed, and their tails were placed between their legs. As I was walking out the door…at my up, a person shouts’ it’s a lady’… I shouted up’ it’s a person!’ ‘

‘ Epf cancelled my account and allowed the pedo to be ‼️,’ she stated.

Silva’s account was terminated by Planet Fitness, and the company filed a police record against her, alleging that she had broken the treadmill rules by taking pictures and/or videos in the locker room.

Former Planet Fitness gym goer Patricia Silva has defended her reaction in a series of Facebook postings

Her activities clashed with the school’s commitment to ‘ creating an inclusive and healthy environment.’

The same phrase was used by Composites of TikTok to share a speech from Planet Fitness. They doubled down on their choice.

The gym claimed in their assertion that the employees should “work with members and employees to handle this discomfort [sharing facilities with trans members ] and foster a climate of understanding consistent with Planet Fitness ‘ Judgment Free character.”

The speech continued: ‘ Planet Fitness staff may strive to address transgender members with names, titles, pronouns, and other terms constant with their self- reported gender identity, if fairly known to the Planet Fitness staff.’

A transgender woman shall be referred to by her preferred name and female pronouns, according to the statement.

A transgender man is also referred to by his preferred name and male pronouns.

The gym “reserves the right to terminate a person’s membership immediately for any violation of this policy,” it came to.

When Daily Mail.com inquired about their policy with Planet Fitness, they reiterated the statement that was made after Silva became popular.

Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment as the location of the Judgement Free Zone. Our gender identity non- discrimination policy, states that members and guests may use the gym facilities that best align with their sincere, self- reported gender identity,’ it read.

The member who posted on social media allegedly violated our mobile device policy, which forbids photo capturing of people in the locker room, and their membership was terminated.

Another user said:’ Give Planet Fitness the Bud Light treatment, cancel your membership, and let them know why.’

Another person echoed this sentiment: ‘ Well Planet Fitness deserves the bud light treatment.’

Someone claimed that they had taken action, writing: I’ve cancelled my membership. # BoycottPlanetFitness.’

Another user penned: ‘” A transgender shall be referred to by her preferred name and female pronouns”. This is what’s known as forced speech and it’s unconstitutional. If we had a real DOJ, they’d prosecute this assault on the First Amendment. # BoycottPlanetFitness.’
