Was the woman who started the temple blaze in Osteen transgender?

At Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston on Sunday, two people were shot by a person using adult names, according to authorities. After she started firing in the megachurch, two off-duty police officers fatally shot the suspect, whose weapon apparently bore the phrase “Palestine.”

The research has not eliminated a transgender identity, Houston police told The Daily Signal over the phone.

When “court documents where they identified themselves as Jeffrey” were discovered, a public information officer referred to the suspect as “they” and noted this. The investigation is still ongoing, the official said, adding that the department is handling the suspect’s identity with “sensitivity.”

Officers cited “discrepancies” in a media conference on Monday that might point to transgender identity, but authorities insisted that the shooter was, to the best of their knowledge, a woman.

At the media event, Christopher Hassig, the director of the Houston Police Department’s homicide system, stated that Genesse Moreno, a 36-year-old Latina woman, is the shooter. According to the authorities, her full title is Genesse Ivonne Moreno.

Hassig continued, “There are studies that she used several nicknames, including Jeffrey Escalante.” She has used both male and female brands, but throughout the course of our research to this point, she has consistently been identified as a woman, according to reports from the Houston Police Department.

Authorities added that they had found “antisemitic” works while looking through the shooter’s belongings.

He made no mention of whether her figure had been determined to be medically female.

When The Daily Signal asked the office if she had testosterone in her system at the time of her suicide, they did not respond. By the time The Daily Signal requested a reply, the coroner had also not responded.

According to Fox News, Moreno was “born as a man—Jeffrey Escalante—from El Salvador.”

A 7-year-old child and the gunman entered Lakewood Church carrying an AR-15. At Texas Children’s Hospital, the child is in critical condition after being shot, according to authorities. Eventually, they recognized the youngster as the shooter’s son. A related 57-year-old gentleman was likewise shot and hurt in the event.

Before further injuries could happen, the gunman was quickly killed by two off-duty police officers. Both officers work for the Houston Police Department and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, respectively.

Moreno may be different from the vast majority of mass shooters if she were medically female. 97.7% of mass guns in the United States have been male, according to Justice Department research that was released in February 2022.

Six people were killed when another woman opened fire on a class in Nashville, Tennessee, in March. A natural girl named Audrey Hale identified as a man. Whether she had testosterone in her system has not yet been verified by the government. In order to look more masculine, biological females who identify as men frequently use hormone as a cross-sex hormone.

People with higher testosterone levels have more red blood cells, larger muscles, and more noticeable skeletal muscle. Additionally, hormone has a tendency to instill unnecessary aggression and self-confidence in men.

Although Moreno’s gender, gender identity, and use of hormones other than testosterone are still unknown, the drug may help to explain why a natural female would commit mass shootings.

Popular Christian priest Osteen frequently receives condemnation for spreading the “prosperity gospel,” which holds that God desires Christians to be prosperous and good.
